Igår var jag på morfars-loppis och fyndade en massa fint, helt gratis! Ja, mest burkar då men så blir det lätt när man städar kök. Det blv en massa nostalgi och härlig morfar-Carolinatid. De stapelbara kakburkarna är från tidigt 50-tal och är för mig (och mamma som har snott dem!) väldigt viktiga nostalginycklar till mormor. Hon var en riktig bagerska, helt otrolig faktiskt! De senaste månaderna har jag mer och mer önskat att hon var kvar i livet, av alla anledningar och inte minst för alla recept och tips. Jag önskar att jag hunnit gått en riktig husmorsskola hos henne, och att hon fått träffat så viktiga människor som finns och funnits i mitt liv. Men man ska inte älta det omöjliga så jag får se på mina fina nygamla burkar och le av minnet.

Yesterday I went to a grandfather-flea market, I find lots of fine bargains, all for free! Yes, most cans then, but it is easy to become so when you clean the kitchen. It was a lot of nostalgia and great grandfather-Carolina time. The stackable cookie jar is from the early 50's and for me (and my mother who has stolen them!) very important nostalgia keys to grandma. She was a real baker, incredible actually! In the recent months, I have more and more wished that she was still alive, of all reasons, not least of all the recipes and tips. I wish I had been at real housewife school with her, and that she had met so important people that are and have been in my life. But one should not dwell on the impossible so I get to look at my lovely new-old cans and smile of the memory.
